FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

About this role

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission new equipment at customers’ sites.

• Carry out equipment assembly, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, upgrading and preventive maintenance.

• Perform other technical tasks as assigned.

• Provide professional and timely technical support and maintain good customer service.

• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Requirements

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in equipment servicing and repair.

• Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for a senior position.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Able to prepare simple service reports in English.

• Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Positive work attitude and willingness to learn new technical skills.

• Able to work effectively under tight schedules and meet service deadlines.

• Able to work outside normal office hours when required for urgent service support.

• Willing and able to travel on short notice when required for customer service and technical support.
