**About MEGA Charge**

MEGA Charge is an energy company specialized in delivering sustainable and cost-effective charging solutions for the transport industry. We are currently developing an Energy Management System (EMS) that seamlessly connects batteries, chargers, solar and the grid for heavy-duty e-trucks.

We believe in transparency and customer support through data, values that inspired us to design and launch this project.

Our EMS will enable fleet electrification at scale by intelligently managing energy flows, costs, and market interactions in real time.

**Core Mission**

As a Field Service Engineer at MegaCharge, you are our technical ambassador in the field. You are the face of MegaCharge at customer sites, ensuring that every installation runs smoothly, every system is commissioned correctly and every customer feels supported. You bridge the gap between our technology and the real world, while your work directly contributes to the electrification of heavy transport.

**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**

* **Commission** new charging equipment and energy systems at customer sites * **Follow up on construction sites:** technically validate subcontractor work, plan and monitor progressAnalyse and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site * **Carry out preventive maintenance** on charging infrastructure and energy systems * **Advise customers** on the correct use and maintenance of their equipment * **Report accurately** on completed service and maintenance activities * **Monitor and maintain** healthy spare parts stock

**IN YOUR** **TOOLBOX** **MUST-HAVE**

* A valid driver’s license * A background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field * Hands-on experience in field service, installation or commissioning * Experience in industrial communication / OT (Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet , 5G etc. ) * Comfortable reading technical documentation and working with complex systems * Strong communicator with a customer-first mindset * Proactive, organised, and able to work independently on-site * Expercience with EV charging infrastructure or energy systems * A genuine interest in the energy transition and sustainable technology

**NICE-TO-HAVE**

* Fluent in Dutch and/or French. One of both is required * Knowlegde of English
