Field and ABM Manager, North America
Vclusterlabs · United States · 2026-11-03
About this role
As a Field and ABM Manager at vCluster Labs, you aren’t just running events; you are the person who turns our most important North American accounts into pipeline. You’ll own account-based and field marketing for every target AI cloud and enterprise account in the region, and you’ll decide which accounts get attention, when, and through which programs. One of your dinners puts our executives in a room with the CTO of a target AI cloud, shapes how that room thinks about the software layer, and ends with a booked meeting. The 2027 plan, the account list and strong product marketing, DevRel and ecosystem teams are already in place. You’ll be one of the first hires on the growth team that brings it to life.
As a Field and ABM Manager, your role will include:
- Account-Based Marketing: You will run ABM by tier. For our highest-priority accounts, you’ll build 1:1 plans with AEs that include an executive sponsor, a custom business case, personalized pages, direct mail and invite-only dinners. For the next tier, such as NVIDIA Cloud Partners and telcos, you’ll run 1:few campaigns and adapt each quarterly campaign kit for North America.
- Field Marketing & Events: You will plan and run executive dinners, roadshows, workshops and co-hosted events with NVIDIA, OEMs and ecosystem partners. You’ll turn flagship moments like NVIDIA GTC San Jose and KubeCon North America into Tier 1 meetings and VIP dinners, and you’ll measure every program by how it moves accounts forward. You may also support some events in Asia Pacific.
- Buying Groups & Thought Leadership: You will reach the economic buyer, technical decision maker, champion, product owner and gatekeeper in every account, each with a message built for them: business impact for the CEO, tenant isolation and architecture for the CTO, and reliability and SOC 2 posture for SRE and security. You’ll put our CEO, CTO and customers in front of target buyers through roundtables, panels and briefings. You’ll also work with Content and Product Marketing to turn each program into reusable assets.
- Sales Partnership & Measurement: You will agree on target accounts with AEs and SDRs every quarter. Every touch gets a named follow-up owner and an SLA, and every high-intent event signal reaches an AE within two business days. You’ll track account progression weekly and program ROI quarterly, then scale what works and stop what doesn’t.
- Early Impact: In your first 30 days, you’ll lock Tier 1 account plans with Sales and map the North American field calendar for the first half of 2027. Within two quarters, every Tier 1 account in the region will have an engaged buying group of 3+ roles and your field events will hold a 50%+ show rate. A growing share of meetings and opportunities will also be marketing-influenced, including partner-attached ones from NVIDIA and OEM programs.
This role could be a fit for you if you bring:
- ABM & Field Experience: 7+ years in B2B field marketing, ABM or demand generation, including at least 3 years running ABM against a named account list.
- Pipeline Impact: A track record of field programs that sourced or advanced pipeline in complex enterprise deals with many stakeholders.
- Technical Buyer Fluency: Experience marketing to technical buyers in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, HPC, data centers or developer platforms.
- Executive Presence: Comfort hosting senior executives. You can plan a VIP dinner for 20 CTOs and run the room.
- GTM Tooling: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot and ABM or intent tools such as 6sense, Demandbase or Clay.
- Builder’s Mentality: A bias for action and the ability to build programs from scratch on an early-stage team. You’re also open to travel up to 40%.
Bonus points for:
- Partner Co-Marketing: Experience co-marketing with NVIDIA, OEMs or cloud providers.
- Regional Network: Existing relationships with AI cloud, telco or GPU infrastructure buyers in North America.
- Open Source & Infrastructure: A background at an open-source or infrastructure software company.
ABOUT VCLUSTER LABS
We're the #1 platform for AI infrastructure, trusted by the world's fastest-growing AI cloud builders. We're a venture-backed startup that's raised over $28M from top-tier investors including Khosla Ventures (first investor in OpenAI, GitLab, Stripe, and DoorDash), and we're in a hyper-growth phase looking for motivated people to join our team. Our headquarters are in San Francisco (Salesforce Tower), but our team is distributed around the globe with a remote-first culture.
We give AI Cloud providers and AI factories a hyperscaler-like experience on their own GPU infrastructure. Our platform runs the full stack an operator needs, from bare metal provisioning and node lifecycle management up through managed Kubernetes, Slurm, Ray, and inference clusters, so they can turn raw GPUs into cluster products they can sell in days instead of spending 12+ months building it themselves. Today we power over 100,000 GPUs and 1 million CPUs across 50+ AI clouds and Fortune 500 companies, backed by a team of 40+ infrastructure engineers who build alongside our customers rather than just shipping them software.
We're the company behind vCluster, the open source technology for tenant isolation on Kubernetes, with 11,000+ GitHub stars and 40M+ tenant clusters created since 2021. Open source is part of our DNA. At KubeCon North America 2025, we launched our Infrastructure Tenancy Platform for AI, a Kubernetes-native framework built for running AI, ML, and GPU-intensive workloads anywhere, with an NVIDIA-validated reference architecture for DGX systems.
