<p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong><br>This is an onsite position.</p> <p><strong>Job Overview</strong><br>The Facility Security Officer (FSO) interprets, implements, and maintains a highly effective security program consistent with all regulatory, government policies and provides supplemental guidance to the business and its leaders.</p> <p><strong>Essential Functions</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Use an analytical and risk-management based approach for the implementation of the security program.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with providing briefings through public speaking, facilitated trainings, and written guidance.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Process and protect personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive, personal information with regards to reporting responsibilities in a&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;professional manner.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Effectively apply physical and procedural security measures with minimal impact to business operations.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with the preparation, maintenance and protection of official records auditable by U.S. Government representatives.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Maintain, audit and evaluate industrial security program to provide a safe and secure environment to protect employees and company assets.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with overseeing automated access control and intrusion detection systems.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with managing access of support vendors, consultants, and contactors to the facility.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with formalizing security program with other organizations, especially Export Control, Facilities, and Information Technology.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Interact with functional business groups, senior management, and government representatives.<br>•&nbsp; &nbsp; Represent the facility when interacting with senior AEVEX Corporate executives, site management, and government representatives on security&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;and asset protection issues.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Use team-concept approach in response to information requests.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Liaison with local and federal law enforcement, federal investigators, and emergency response personnel.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with interpreting and administering existing policies and develop, document, implement, and communicate revisions to existing policies or&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;new policies, processes, and procedures<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with developing educational programs and preside over training sessions for all employees with regard to security.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Provide continuing education and training programs such as briefings and newsletters.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Assist with managing foreign travel safety and reporting program.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p><strong>Standard Essential Functions</strong><br>Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].<br>Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.&nbsp; Embodies AEVEX’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Competencies</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required as well as strong analytical ability leading to exemplary execution.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficient of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Possess a high degree of organizational and communications skills, both written and verbal.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Must be able to work independently and irregular hours, as required.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to efficiently partner with functional organizations and possess the ability to solve complex challenges independently in compliance with&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;written and verbal guidance from both internal and external Customers as appropriate meeting business objectives.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ability to objectively and professionally conduct investigations regarding sensitive issues and violations of written policies; issue disciplinary&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;guidance as needed.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficient in using various software tools packages such as Visio, CAD, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access and Microsoft Project<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Proficient procedural documentation skills are required.</p> <p><strong>Education / Certifications</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience.<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Completion of all Defense Security Service FSO training requirements for safeguarding facility - Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification is&nbsp;
