We offer medical benefits that start on your first day as a CR employee that include behavioral health coverage, family planning and a generous 401K match. <a href="https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/careers/landing-page/index.htm">Learn more about how CR advocates on behalf of our employees.</a></span></p></div><p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>OVERVIEW</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">CR’s  consumer product and service testing center, in Yonkers, New York, is the largest nonprofit educational and consumer product testing center in the world.  It is here where, in any one of our 63 labs, we test, rate, and review 10,000+ products and services. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">As a Mechanic on the team, you will report to the Director of Facilities to focus on routine maintenance,  responding to occasional off-hour emergency calls and ensuring safety regulations are met and all equipment is in good working order.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">This is an on-site position located in Yonkers, New York.  This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation assistance. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>How You'll Make An Impact</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Our dedicated facility team is instrumental in maintaining and repairing our organization’s headquarters so our testing and research experts can provide consumers with the information they need to make informed decisions.
