Cleantech Group is seeking an Events and Programs Coordinator to join our team. This role is well suited to a self-starter with a genuine passion for sustainable innovation and for organizing impactful, enjoyable, and smoothly-run events and engagement programs that bring together deal-makers to seed future transactions in support of the net zero goal.
This position is open to candidates at entry level or with a few years of relevant experience.
The successful candidate will coordinate and collaborate with our wider team to deliver Cleantech Group's two upcoming Forums – Cleantech Forum Europe (in November) and Cleantech Forum North America (in January). Initial tasks will focus on final stage logistics for Cleantech Forum Europe – networking app and agenda management, participant communications, vendor and venue coordination – while also supporting on-going planning for Cleantech Forum North America. You'll work closely with colleagues across research, marketing and business development to make sure each Forum reflects Cleantech Group's standards for quality, relevance and the kind of high-value connections our community has come to expect.
The role will also support delivery of our upcoming award programs — LATAM Cleantech 25, Cleantech 50 to Watch, and the Global Cleantech 100 — which are closely interconnected with our events, where we spotlight the report and celebrate the participating winners. Responsibilities include collecting winner logos, preparing and sending communications to winners and supporting the editing process for the individual reports.
Ensure that the production of international events and related award programs run smoothly and professionally — both internally and externally — in line with company goals, capabilities, and budgets.
