This role works closely with colleagues across the Marketing + Communications (M+C) team, Accenture Federal business, and Accenture (M+C) to bring to life our differentiated capabilities, expertise, and impact through these event platforms and advance our business and marketing objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>You are highly organized and detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid, matrix environment. You bring a demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities with strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.</p> <p><strong>The work:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead overall event planning, program management, and execution of multiple complex events (large-scale, multi-component, executive-level) simultaneously</li> <li>Execute event programs end to end, including event asset management, logistics management (including sponsorship assessment, venue selection, on-the-ground planning, booth build and event production), know-before-you-go resources, event calendar updates, policy compliance, and ROI tracking.</li> <li>Work closely with M+C and business partners to evaluate and recommend sponsorship benefits</li> <li>Liaise with multiple stakeholders in Accenture Federal Services (across the Marketing + Communications team and key business stakeholders) and with outside organizations/vendors</li> <li>Post-event close/wrap (including event analytics, documentation, surveys, etc.)</li> <li>Professional presence and ability to interact with multiple points of contact across functional groups at various career levels, including executive</li> <li>Proactive, self-starter who is motivated and driven to make a difference with the team</li> <li>Attention to detail and high-quality work outputs</li> <li>Well organized with program management skills and an ability to manage multiple work streams and programs simultaneously</li> <li>Strong team player, willing to collaborate for best results across multiple teams</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>US Citizenship.</li> <li>Metro Washington, DC area-based with the ability to travel occasionally to select US-based events with advance notice.</li> <li>Flexibility to support events outside of traditional office hours.</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of event management and/or marketing activation experience.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus if you have:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with the US federal or public sector industry (military or civilian).</li> <li>Experience working in a business-to-business or business-to-government environment (military or civilian).</li> <li>Experience in B2B events or B2B marketing activation (military or civilian).&nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree <br>&nbsp;</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
