The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Event/Field Marketing Director to own the end-to-end strategy, operations, and execution of premium, high-impact events that deepen relationships with enterprise clients and generate new business opportunities. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned event marketing professional who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution while building and scaling a world-class events program.
You will be the driving force behind a diverse portfolio of innovative events including executive roundtables, private client experiences, industry conferences, hackathons, and flagship summits. From ideation to post-event analysis, you will have full ownership of our events function and be accountable for delivering measurable business results.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive leadership to craft and execute event strategies that amplify our AI platform's impact, enhance brand presence, foster community engagement, and showcase our AI solutions to the world's leading enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision
Define and own the overall event marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise sales, marketing, and company growth objectives.
Develop and manage an annual strategic events calendar, identifying key opportunities to engage target accounts and industry leaders.
Establish KPIs and success metrics for all events, ensuring clear ROI and pipeline impact.
Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to continuously innovate our events program.
Operations & PlanningOwn end-to-end event operations, including detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
Build and optimize scalable processes and playbooks for event planning and execution.
Manage event budgets with full P&L accountability, negotiating vendor contracts and ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Build and maintain relationships with high-end venues, agencies, production partners, and key vendors.
Execution & DeliveryLead the planning and flawless execution of a wide range of events: executive dinners, private forums, curated networking experiences, hackathons, summits, industry conferences, and VIP client experiences.
Manage all event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, production, on-site management, and guest experience.
Ensure every event delivers a premium, on-brand experience consistent with our enterprise positioning.
Oversee multiple events simultaneously, maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality.
Client & Executive EngagementPartner closely with sales leadership to design events that support pipeline generation and relationship-building with key enterprise accounts.
Develop and coordinate executive-level programming including speaker sessions, panel discussions, fireside chats, and thought leadership experiences.
Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, influencers, and executive stakeholders to elevate our event offerings and brand presence.
Marketing Integration & Collaboration
Collaborate with demand generation, content, and brand teams to align event messaging, promotion, and follow-up campaigns.
Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns utilizing digital platforms, social media, email outreach, and ABM tactics.
Work cross-functionally with product and customer success teams to incorporate product showcases and client stories into events.
Post-Event Analysis & Optimization
Gather feedback from participants, stakeholders, and internal teams to assess event success.
Analyze performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and ROI; prepare detailed reports and executive summaries.
Continuously iterate and improve the events program based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing, preferably in AI technology, SaaS, or enterprise software.
Proven track record of owning end-to-end event strategy, operations, and execution at a senior level.
Extensive experience planning and producing executive-level, high-touch client events for C-levels.
Demonstrated success managing events targeted at Fortune 500, C-suite, or global enterprise audiences.
Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering premium, memorable experiences.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with C-level executives and industry leaders.
Experience managing significant event budgets with full P&L accountability.
