At Apex, you don’t just join a company, you help shape what comes next.<br></span></p> <p class="x_MsoNormal"> </p></div><p>Our Northeast Division is a well-respected and award-winning group where career development, training, and mentoring co-exist with diverse civil, environmental, water resources, and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced and rewarding work environment. We are seeking a dynamic<strong> <span class="TextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Environmental </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Building Sciences </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Field</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8"> </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Technician</span></span><span class="EOP SCXW178793812 BCX8" data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></strong>to join our <strong>Woburn, MA office</strong>. </p> <p><strong>Your Responsibilities as an <span class="TextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Environmental </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Building Sciences </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Field</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8"> </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW178793812 BCX8">Technician</span></span>:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct hazardous materials surveys, including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, other hazardous materials, and indoor air quality. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Provide oversight of contaminated site remediation and hazardous building materials abatement. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare field notes, photographs, and perform analysis and interpretation of field and analytical data. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare technical reports for hazardous materials for site assessments. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Support emergency response services, communicate and collaborate with others, manage workloads and records, implement health & safety policies, and travel. </span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></li> </ul> <div> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in Environmental Science, or related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in the Industrial Hygiene / Hazardous Building Materials industry.</li> <li>Asbestos, Lead, and/or 40‑hr HAZWOPER certification required</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office and other commonly used computer programs preferred.</li> <li>Familiarity with State Superfund and applicable federal and state regulations preferred.</li> <li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail with a strong safety mindset and record of safe work practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Work Environment & Schedule:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Willingness to conduct asbestos, lead, and mold surveys, remediation monitoring, exposure monitoring, and specialized industrial hygiene projects.</li> <li>Ability to work in fast‑paced environments, various weather conditions, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Willingness to travel up to 90% regionally and work nights or weekends as needed.</li> <li>Valid…
