Our fleet is primarily day cabs and trailers, all under manufacturer warranty—meaning <strong>no major engine overhauls or roadside calls</strong>.</p> <p>You'll perform a variety of tasks, with clear pathways for growth:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Routine Maintenance &amp; Repair:</strong> Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet.</li> <li><strong>Diagnostics:</strong> Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex <strong>electrical, engine, and transmission problems</strong>.</li> <li><strong>System Repairs:</strong> Address issues with <strong>aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions)</strong>, perform regens, and change filters.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate &amp; Optimize:</strong> Work with your team to maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime.</li> <li><strong>Safety First:</strong> Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure our fleet is always DOT compliant.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></h3> <p>We're searching for skilled professionals with a strong background in diesel technology.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> <strong>3+ years of experience</strong> with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment (e.g., agricultural, construction, waste collection truck).</li> <li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></li> <ul> <li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.</li> <li>Proficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics</strong>.</li> <li>Comfortable with <strong>MIG welding</strong> is a plus.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Certifications &amp; Training:</strong></li> <ul> <li>A minimum of <strong>two ASE Certifications</strong> within the first 6 months of employment (we'll reimburse you!).</li> <li>T-series ASE Certifications are highly valued.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Requirements:</strong></li> <ul> <li>A valid <strong>Driver's License</strong> with clean driving record</li> <li>Ability to perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance (lifting, bending, etc.).</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.</li> <li>A solid attendance record and punctuality are essential for this role.</li> </ul> </ul> <h3><strong>About Carvana</strong></h3> <p>At Carvana, we're on a mission to change the way people buy cars.
