<h2 data-path-to-node="3">About the Opportunity</h2> <p data-path-to-node="4">We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Foundations team within Platform Engineering domain, Runtime Platform segment. </p> <p data-path-to-node="4">The Runtime Platform segment’s mission is to provide intuitive, self-service platforms that empower product and feature engineering teams across the organization to seamlessly build, deploy, run and monitor their business applications.</p> <p data-path-to-node="5">As Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core architectural bedrock of our technology platform. You will be responsible for guiding a talented group of engineers as they evolve foundational, underlying cloud systems into robust, developer-centric platform products. You will have end-to-end ownership of the team’s scope - spanning strategy, execution, and organizational design - ensuring our cloud account baselines, container orchestration, networking, and secret management scale safely, efficiently, and autonomously.</p> <p data-path-to-node="6">This role is a unique opportunity to define the future of our cloud ecosystem, directly impacting developer velocity, platform resilience and operational security across the entire company.</p> <h2>In this role, you will:</h2> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="9,0,0">Drive Platform Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the Cloud Foundations segment, shifting fundamental cloud capabilities into self-service, developer-friendly products.</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,1,0">Empower Engineering Teams: Enable development teams to autonomously provision infrastructure, manage secrets and deploy workloads securely through well-defined APIs, robust tooling, and automated guardrails.</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,2,0">Own Core Cloud Foundations: Oversee a critical portfolio of core platform capabilities, including AWS cloud management (Account Vending Machine, Access Management, Organisation level setup & Cloud Baseline), Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Terraform) and Privileged Access Platform.</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,3,0">Lead and Scale People: Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team of engineers specializing in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and platform engineering, promoting a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and shared ownership.</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,4,0">Evolve Operational Maturity: Elevate engineering practices around automation, observability, resiliency, and secure-by-default architecture, balancing rapid developer velocity with strict availability and security requirements.</li> <li data-path-to-node="9,5,0">Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic liaison between Engineering, Product, Security and other stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies and advocate for platform adoption across the business.</li> </ul> <h2 data-path-to-node="11">What you need to be successful</h2> <h3 data-path-to-node="12">Background</h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="13,0,0">Proven experience leading high-impact platform, cloud infrastructure, SRE or DevOps teams in a complex, scale-up or enterprise environment.</li> <li data-path-to-node="13,1,0">Deep experience in AWS cloud architecture, automated multi-account management frameworks and cloud networking baselines.</li> <li data-path-to-node="13,2,0">Proven track record of transforming foundational cloud infrastructure into product-led, self-service platform solutions that enhance developer experience.</li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="14">Skills & Expertise</h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="15,1,0">Platform Engineering Principles: Solid grasp of self-service platform design, observability, automation and secure-by-default architecture.</li> <li data-path-to-node="15,2,0">People Leadership: Strong skills in coaching, performance management, team building and cultivating an inclusive, high-accountability culture.</li> <li data-path-to-node="15,3,0">Stakeholder Alignment: Excellent communication and influence skills - able to interface effectively with Security, Architecture and Product teams to drive platform alignment without relying solely on formal authority.</li> <li data-path-to-node="15,4,0">Fluent English: Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.</li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="16">Traits</h3> <ul> <li data-path-to-node="17,0,0">Strategic and Systemic Thinker: You look beyond immediate quick fixes to design scalable, long-term systemic architecture and organizational models.</li> <li data-path-to-node="17,1,0">Product Mindset for Platforms: You treat internal developers as customers, actively listening to their friction points to build intuitive developer platforms.</li> <li data-path-to-node="17,2,0">Pragmatic & Decisive: You thrive in complex environments, balancing technical debt, risk, speed and platform reliability effortlessly.</li> <li data-path-to-node="17,3,0">Empowering Leader: You set high standards while providing the trust, clarity, and psychological safety your team needs to innovate autonomously.</li> </ul> <h2>What’s in it for you:</h2> <ul> <li>Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe’s most talked about disruptors.</li> <li>Employee benefits…
