This role is critical to scaling a high-performing engineering team that improves developer productivity, accelerates execution, and helps Box build world-class products faster and more effectively. You will shape the team’s roadmap, drive delivery against key business priorities, and create the environment for engineers to do their best work. Your leadership will directly influence how we execute, collaborate, and scale, while helping Box continue to transform the way organizations work with content in the AI era.</p> </div> <p> </p> <div class="align-justify"> <p><strong>Who you are:</strong></p> </div> <p>You are an experienced engineering leader who knows how to build strong teams, deliver impactful platform or developer productivity initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and technical excellence. You are passionate about coaching and developing engineers, and you bring a thoughtful, pragmatic approach to planning, execution, and cross-functional partnership. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day operational rigor, and you know how to align engineering work with business outcomes. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and are energized by the opportunity to lead a team in Poland that plays an important role in Box’s long-term success. As part of an AI-first company, you are also curious about how AI can improve engineering workflows, decision-making, and team impact.</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role</li> <li>Demonstrated experience improving developer experience through platform, tooling, or workflow investments that increase engineering productivity and reduce delivery friction.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Kubernetes internals and ecosystem tools (Helm, ArgoCD, Istio/Linkerd, Prometheus, etc.).</li> <li>Experience managing production Kubernetes clusters on at least one major public cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure).</li> <li>Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and containerization.</li> <li>Passion about open source and staying…
