We’re looking to add an Engineering Manager who combines proven leadership with a genuine fluency in AI-assisted development, and the ability to coach their team to work effectively in that environment.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We're hiring experienced Engineering Managers for full-time roles, with a hybrid schedule that includes three days a week in the office in San Francisco, CA.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you’ll:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lead, mentor, and coach a team of talented software engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Champion AI-forward engineering practices using AI tools consistently in your own work and coaching your team to do the same: prompting with context and constraints, reviewing AI-generated code critically, and knowing when to rely on AI versus reason independently.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Drive execution of high-impact product initiatives in close partnership with Product, Design, and Quality teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Recruit and onboard world-class engineering talent.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide clarity in scope and timelines while ensuring delivery of high-quality, testable, and secure code.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to evolve platform architecture and technical strategy.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Champion a culture of inclusion, transparency, and accountability within the team and across the company.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>We’re excited that you are:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bringing deep technical expertise with 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Experienced in leading and managing software engineering teams (3+ years in management or technical leadership).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Passionate about enabling engineers to do their best work through coaching, feedback, and career development, including practical mentorship on AI coding tools and when to apply them.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Technically strong in modern web application development (React, Node.js, Ruby, or similar).</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Skilled in building SaaS products at scale, with a focus on quality, security, and performance.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">An excellent communicator, able to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Fluent in AI-assisted development. You use tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar regularly in your own work, apply a deliberate review process before relying on AI output, and are ready to help engineers on your team develop the same habits.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">10+ years of professional software engineering experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or equivalent leadership role.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You have experience scaling teams in a startup or growth-stage environment.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Track record of delivering enterprise SaaS products, ideally in B2B or FinTech/PropTech.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact.</span></li> <li…
