We're hiring an Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team.</p> <p>Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves—one that behaves like a doctor in the family.</p> <h3>About the role</h3> <p>As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee every stage of engineering development, from conceptualization and design to rigorous testing and successful deployment, ensuring our engineering projects drive innovation and provide value. You'll lead engineers to help them design for stability, performance, and scalability across services or clients.</p> <p>In this role, you will identify and solve the most valuable business problems by blending deep user empathy and sharp product intuition with a thorough understanding of Oscar’s operating model and business levers. You will serve as a strategic partner to engineering, data, and design to lead complex, cross-domain initiatives, ensuring direct alignment with senior leadership on priorities and outcomes.
