How You Will Make an Impact:

The Electrical Panel Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, wires, and tests electrical control panels used in manufacturing equipment and production systems by following electrical schematics, bills of material, and work instructions. Installs components, performs point‑to‑point wiring, conducts functional checks, and supports quality and safety standards to ensure panels meet manufacturing and operational requirements within production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electrical components according to specifications.

• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.

• Know and comply with all safety policies, standards, and procedures that apply to your job.

• Use the correct tools and use them safely.

• Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.

• Abide by all policies and procedures.

• Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.

• Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Certification from a vocational school or trade school preferred.

• 2 to 5 years of assembly experience is preferred.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of basic mechanic tools.

• An aptitude for mechanical assembly.

• Time management and organizational skills.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Read and follow complex directions in manuals and relay information in reports.

• Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US.

• Pass a drug screening.

• Clean motor vehicle record.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination.

• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.

• The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds.
