Unique is looking for an **EHS Manager** for a company in the **Wevelgem** region.

As an EHS Manager you will lead the implementation and administration of established health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.

**What will you have to do?**

* Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate.
* Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system
* Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team
* Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS
* Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
* Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business
