About this role

TERRITORY: The territory covers Northern California (from CA/OR border to Santa Barbara). Ideal candidate must reside in the territory.

The District Manager, Women’s Health Sales is a leadership position responsible for growing Natera’s Women’s Health Prenatal and Hereditary Cancer Products within an assigned geography through the results of a Team of Clinical Field Specialists (CFS) and Account Sales Representatives (ASR).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieves and exceeds sales goals for assigned territories.

• Achieves sales goals by developing territory and account action plans to close competitive accounts, cross selling of all Women’s Health Products and increasing physician utilization.

• Develops expert knowledge of Natera’s Women’s Health products and UX services.

• Employs Sales processes such as Janek to conduct effective sales calls.

• Knows the customer business needs (internal vs. external) and acts accordingly; anticipating customer needs, and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and customer service.

• Plans, schedules, and organizes work to optimize time and resources, Prioritizes important and urgent demands.

• Is a Team Player, shows positive attitude; helpful and supportive of others; communicates professionally and clearly; accepts and incorporates feedback; honest and direct.

• Have the ability to assess skill strengths and weaknesses of individuals and teams in order to determine what actions are appropriate to build and/or improve the needed skills.

• Identifies, recruits and hires talent.

• Coaches and develops CFSs and ASRs Addresses and manages personnel and performance issues.

• Collaborates with Strategic Account Managers, Medical Sales Liaisons and Medical Directors to close new business.

• Follows Natera Company Policies and models Natera Core Values.

• Enforces Compliance -Sunshine ACT, Stark, Anti-Kickback (Entertainment, Business Meals, Education of Healthcare Providers).

• Ensures expense reporting is completed timely and accurately – Stays within Stark Limit.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, Women’s Health Preferred.

• Background in medical or biological sciences is preferred

• Trained on a recognized Industry Sale Process Program such as SPIN Selling, Challenger, Janek,

• IMPAX, Wilson Learning etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• History of leadership or Natera sales success in achieving or exceeding sales goals (previous 2 quarters of 100% or better)

• Award winning sales professional due to individual achievements

• Competent and consistently uses sales process Intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, flexible, self-motivated, and results oriented with strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills

• Ability to think strategically, develop SWOT plans, and sales data analysis.

• Acts with a sense of urgency

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and work independently with an internal drive to be successful

• Creative, resourceful problem solver

• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to effectively present to both internal and external customers

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Knowledgeable of Sunshine Act, Stark and AntiKickback

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, Gmail, Sales Force.com , Concur, Qliksense

Total compensation includes a competitive base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. In addition we offer a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
Compensation & Total Rewards

The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE, which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. On-target earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100% of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount, providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
