About the Role
We’re hiring a Director of Events & Field Marketing to own how CallMiner shows up in person and in-region across North America and EMEA. Reporting to the CMO and leading a small events team, you’ll run our annual customer conferences, a global trade show program, and an ABM-aligned field program of executive dinners, roundtables, and partner events, all measured against clear pipeline and revenue targets. This is a player-coach role: you’ll set strategy and roll up your sleeves on execution.
Strategic thinking, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration are central to this role. You’ll bring marketing, sales, and customer success partners together for every event to create world-class experiences that represent our brand and stand apart from the pack.
Your program will span:
• Hosted conferences, including our annual customer conferences in North America and EMEA
• Trade shows and industry conferences
• Regional field marketing events and programs, such as executive dinners, roundtables, lunch-and-learns, sponsorships, and ABM-aligned activations
• Webinars
• Channel and customer co-marketing events
What You’ll Do
Strategy, Pipeline & Budget
• Develop the annual events and webinar strategy for North America and EMEA, built around incremental pipeline targets and pipeline acceleration and influence targets set each year in Q1.
• Own the global events and field marketing budget across multiple currencies, including vendor selection and negotiation.
• Partner with our local EMEA marketing team on localized execution, retaining ownership of EMEA events and field strategy and budget.
• Stay current on events and field marketing best practices and shifts in the market and adjust strategy and tactics to stay effective.
Flagship Events & Trade Shows
• Lead the strategy, development, and execution of our annual customer conferences, including LISTEN in North America and EMEA.
• Lead the cross-functional effort behind each flagship event, working with marketing, sales, customer success, and product stakeholders on content and every element of a great event experience.
• Own our trade show and industry conference program from selection through post-event follow-up.
• Manage all event logistics and operations, and ensure booth design, event content, and promotion reflect our brand standards and differentiate us.
Regional Field Marketing & ABM
• Partner with sales leadership to develop semi-annual regional field marketing programs in North America and EMEA, tied to incremental pipeline and pipeline acceleration targets.
• Integrate events, field programs, and swag and gifting into broader account-based marketing (ABM) campaign sequences.
• Develop an integrated attendance plan for each event and lead its execution.
• Partner with demand generation, BDR, and sales teams on pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up.
Customer & Partner Programs
• Work with customer success and channel teams to plan customer and channel enablement and co-marketing events.
• Provide logistical support to customer success for Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
Measurement & Reporting
• Lead ongoing analysis of event and field marketing performance, including promotion effectiveness and ROI at both the campaign and aggregate level.
• Report results and recommendations to the CMO and revenue leadership.
Team Leadership
• Manage, mentor, and develop a small events team as a player-coach, setting direction while staying hands-on in execution.
• Build strong relationships with sales and customer success leadership and the core executive leadership team.
• Use AI tools to multiply the impact of a small team, for example in account and attendee research, personalized invitations and follow-up, event planning documents, and post-event analysis, and build these practices into the team’s playbook.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to work more efficiently and scale personalization in event and field programs.
• Based in the U.S. and able to work on Eastern Time, with the ability to travel approximately 25–35%. Travel comes in spurts, with busier and quieter periods depending on the event calendar.
