<p><strong>Overview</strong></p> <p>As Brooklinen continues to grow, how we bring new products from concept to market is more important than ever. We’re hiring a Director, Business Operations — Product &amp; Go-To-Market to strengthen the connection between product development and go-to-market execution—bringing greater clarity, accountability, and momentum across teams.</p> <p>In this role, you’ll connect the people, processes, and priorities behind our product lifecycle, helping teams stay aligned, navigate complexity, and move work forward from early development through launch.</p> <p>Reporting to our SVP of Operations, you’ll partner closely with Brooklinen’s executive team and functional leaders to evolve how we operate today and build a more connected, scalable model for the future.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Own</strong></p> <p>Product Development &amp; Launch Orchestration</p> <ul> <li>Drive the cross-functional operating cadence that supports the product development process from concept through launch</li> <li>Partner closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Production, Creative, Digital, and Marketing teams to align milestones, dependencies, and timelines</li> <li>Ensure key handoffs across teams are clear, well coordinated, and executed with accountability</li> <li>Identify areas where the process can move faster or operate more smoothly and lead improvements</li> </ul> <p>Go-to-Market Process Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Strengthen the cross-functional go-to-market process across product, brand, digital, and channel teams</li> <li>Ensure launches are coordinated across stakeholders with clear ownership and timelines</li> <li>Partner with marketing, site, and merchandising teams to ensure product launches land smoothly across channels</li> <li>Act as a central coordinator for launch readiness, keeping teams aligned while maintaining momentum</li> </ul> <p>Cross-Functional Execution &amp; Influence</p> <ul> <li>Lead high-priority initiatives that require coordination across multiple functions and senior stakeholders</li> <li>Build credibility quickly through strong judgment, subject matter expertise, and a collaborative approach</li> <li>Navigate competing priorities with objectivity, helping teams make practical tradeoffs in the service of the business</li> <li>Maintain momentum by identifying risks early and resolving blockers quickly</li> </ul> <p>Operational Excellence &amp; Scale</p> <ul> <li>Strengthen how teams work together across product development and launch by bringing clarity to timelines, handoffs, and decision points</li> <li>Introduce practical ways of working that improve cross-functional coordination without unnecessary complexity</li> <li>Translate lessons from launches and initiatives into better ways of operating going forward</li> <li>Help lay the foundation for a scalable business operations capability over time</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p> <ul> <li>Product development and launch timelines feel clear, coordinated, and easier for teams to execute against</li> <li>Cross-functional partners trust this role’s judgment and view the individual as a valued thought partner</li> <li>Teams collaborate more smoothly across product, marketing, digital, and operations</li> <li>Product launches come to market with stronger alignment and fewer last-minute surprises</li> <li>The organization gains a more consistent and scalable way of bringing products to life</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in business operations, product operations, or cross-functional leadership within consumer brands</li> <li>Deep expertise in soft goods product development.&nbsp;</li> <li>You are fluent in how products move from concept through sampling, development, approvals, production, and launch</li> <li>Experience building or improving cross-functional go-to-market processes</li> <li>Exceptional relationship-building and influence skills with the ability to establish trust quickly across teams and senior stakeholders</li> <li>Strong situational leadership and negotiation skills when navigating competing priorities</li> <li>A builder’s mindset with the ability to introduce structure where needed, while remaining pragmatic and flexible</li> <li>High standards, strong follow-through, and a bias toward action</li> <li>Experience working within brands known for strong product development and go-to-market operating models in soft goods, apparel, or consumer goods environments is a plus</li> </ul> <p data-start="1962" data-end="1978"><strong data-start="1962" data-end="1978">Compensation</strong></p> <p data-start="1980" data-end="2149">Base salary range:&nbsp;$165,000–$190,000, plus&nbsp;equity and a 15% target bonus.&nbsp;<br data-start="2074" data-end="2077">Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and market data.</p> <p data-start="2151" data-end="2171"><strong data-start="2151" data-end="2171">Benefits &amp; Perks</strong></p> <p data-start="2173" data-end="2813">• Up to 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee-only)<br…
