DevOps NGINX Engineer

Talencia is looking for a DevOps NGINX Engineer for one of its clients.

**Location:** Brussels **Start date:** ASAP **Duration:** Long-term

**Profile**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience. * Proven experience in Networking and Security environments. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Team-oriented and proactive mindset. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * **English is mandatory (written and spoken).** * **French and/or Dutch is a plus.** * Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

**Technical Requirements** **Operating Systems & Security**

* Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). * Excellent knowledge of SELinux administration and troubleshooting. * Experience with system hardening, patching, and performance tuning.

**Automation & Configuration Management**

* Strong expertise in Ansible. * Ability to develop and maintain playbooks, roles, and inventories. * Infrastructure automation and configuration management experience.

**Web & Network Services**

* Expertise with NGINX / NGINX+ as Reverse Proxy and Load Balancer. * Experience with F5 ApProtect Web Application Firewall. * Experience with OPSWAT MetaDefender AV/AM solutions. * Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and web security concepts. * Good knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, and DNS.

**DevOps & CI/CD**

* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps. * Experience designing and implementing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of Azure Repos, Artifacts, and deployment pipelines.

**Version Control**

* Advanced Git knowledge: * * Branching strategies * Rebasing and conflict resolution * Tagging and cherry-picking * Pull request workflows

**Scripting & Programming**

* Strong Bash scripting skills. * Working knowledge of Python. * Knowledge of Java is considered an asset.

**Working Conditions**

* **The consultant is expected to be present on-site in Brussels at least once per month. Additional on-site presence may be required depending on project needs.**
