The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial service department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development.</p> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial door service department</li> <li>Promote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficiently</li> <li>Communicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedback</li> <li>Communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been provided</li> <li>Improve individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews</li> <li>Manage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancement</li> <li>Lead monthly sales and performance department meetings</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by Manager</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><strong>Job Requirements</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred and a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered</li> <li>Responsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectations</li> <li>Review customer survey data, respond to customer concerns</li> <li>Must be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policies</li> <li>Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record</li> <li>Ability to work on-site at our Bloomington, IL location</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The anticipated pay range for this position is below. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
