About this role

Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Decommissioning & Demolition Manager on a short-term basis to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of decommissioning and demolition projects, ensuring that operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing decontamination, dismantling, and demolition activities within a petrochemical facility, ensuring strict adherence to HSE, environmental, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage decontamination (flushing, cleaning, gas-free certification) prior to demolition
Supervise dismantling of equipment, piping, and structures safely and efficiently
Prepare and implement method statements, risk assessments, and demolition plans
Coordinate permits (PTW), SIMOPS, and shutdown activities
Ensure compliance with SADARA, RC, and international safety standards
Monitor contractor performance, schedule, and progress
Provide daily reporting and resolve field issues
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering
12+ years in oil & gas/petrochemical construction or shutdowns
Relevant experience in industrial decontamination and demolition
Strong HSE knowledge and site leadership skills
Experience in short-term project management and delivering projects within tight deadlines.
Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to anticipate and mitigate risks effectively.
Familiarity with waste management and environmental compliance requirements.
Willingness to work on-site in Saudi Arabia and travel as required.
