About this vacancy
As an **Experienced DataStage Developer**, you play a key role in maintaining and evolving a critical legacy data platform while supporting the organization's transition towards a modern cloud-based data ecosystem. You ensure the stability, performance, and continuity of existing DataStage solutions while contributing to migration initiatives towards **Microsoft Azure** and modern data platforms.
Your responsibilities include:
* Maintaining, supporting, and enhancing existing **IBM DataStage** ETL workflows and data integration processes.
* Performing impact analyses and implementing small to medium-sized changes to the legacy data platform.
* Troubleshooting production issues and ensuring the reliability of data pipelines.
* Collaborating with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver ongoing improvements.
* Supporting the migration of data workloads from on-premises environments to **Azure-based data platforms**.
* Assisting in the redesign and modernization of data integration processes and architectures.
* Ensuring data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards are upheld.
* Documenting existing solutions, enhancements, and migration activities.
* Contributing to knowledge transfer and helping bridge the gap between legacy and cloud technologies.
