For one of our clients, we are looking for a DatabaseAdministrator.

Work model: Remote, Bulgaria

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB,and Redis databases.

• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, andimplement improvements.

• Design and execute backup, recovery, and disaster recoverystrategies.

• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance withbest practices.

• Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patchmanagement.

• Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues.

• Collaborate with development and platform teams to supportapplication deployments and infrastructure improvements.

• Troubleshoot database incidents and provide timelyresolution.

• Create and maintain database documentation, operationalprocedures, and standards.

• Support capacity planning and database scalabilityinitiatives.

What you bring:

• 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in asimilar role.

• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB administration,including sharded cluster management.

• Experience with Redis administration and cachingstrategies.

• Experience with database performance tuning and queryoptimization.

• Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies.

• Experience with database monitoring tools (New Relic is aplus).

• Experience with Azure cloud database environments.

• Understanding of high availability, replication, andclustering concepts.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in acollaborative environment.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Terraform.

• Familiarity with Databricks.
