This role involves working closely with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal regulations and best practices.</p> <p><strong>The Work:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design and implement security measures for IT infrastructure and systems.</li> <li>Maintain security protocols to protect data, systems, and networks from threats.</li> <li>Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.</li> <li>Collaborate with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal regulations.</li> <li>Utilize security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here's what you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (or 4 years additional equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field</li> <li>4 years of experience in cybersecurity.</li> <li>Experience in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.</li> <li>Experience with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption</li> <li>Possess a DoD 8140 Certification</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus points if you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CAP)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Security Clearance:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be a US citizen (No Dual Citizenship)</li> <li>Active Secret Clearance.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p> </p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of <strong>California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland</strong></span></span><span class="TextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW225111203 BCX8">. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
