To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Customs Affairs Officer to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Customs Affairs Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring full customs compliance and supporting our import and export operations.

Your tasks include:

* Preparing and processing import, export, and transit customs declarations.
* Managing customs documentation and maintaining accurate records.
* Ensuring compliance with Belgian, EU, and international customs regulations.
* Communicating with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, and clients.
* Monitoring customs procedures and advising internal teams on compliance matters.
* Supporting customs audits and inspections.
* Reviewing commodity codes (HS Codes), customs values, and origin documentation.
* Assisting with VAT and customs duty-related matters.
* Identifying opportunities to improve customs processes and operational efficiency.
* Keeping up to date with customs legislation and regulatory changes.
