As Reddit’s in-house creative strategy team, KarmaLab partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and advertisers to develop campaigns, creative strategies, and storytelling that connect brands with Reddit communities.</p> <p>We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to support Reddit’s growing App Development business. This person will help shape creative strategy for app advertisers while partnering across Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to translate business challenges into culturally resonant Reddit ideas that drive impact.</p> <p><strong>Location: Hybrid in New York or San Francisco</strong></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build creative strategies and campaign concepts that help app advertisers show up authentically on Reddit</li> <li>Partner closely with Sales and xfn teams on pitches, RFPs, presentations, workshops, and client storytelling</li> <li>Act as a creative consultant and Reddit platform expert for App Dev-focused clients and agency partners</li> <li>Translate business challenges, growth objectives, and platform insights into culturally resonant Reddit-native ideas that drive impact</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of Reddit, internet culture, and community-driven platforms</li> <li>Strong storytelling, presentation, and client communication skills</li> <li>Experience working closely with Sales and xfn partners to drive business growth</li> <li>Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop compelling creative strategies in fast-moving environments</li> <li>Understanding of mobile app growth or performance-driven advertiser ecosystems</li> <li>Portfolio demonstrating strong strategic and creative thinking</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>Minimum</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in advertising, media, social, PR, or creative strategy</li> <li>Experience building and pitching strategy-led presentations to clients</li> <li>Strong understanding of brands, agencies, and media/platform ecosystems</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li> <li>Proficiency in Google Slides</li> </ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Creative Strategy or platform experience at a social, mobile, or advertising technology company</li> <li>Experience supporting app, gaming, mobile, or performance-driven advertisers</li> <li>Agency, media, or integrated marketing experience</li> <li>Experience writing professionally for digital or social platforms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits and Income Replacement Programs</li> <li>401k with Employer Match</li> <li>Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support</li> <li>Family Planning Support</li> <li>Gender-Affirming Care</li> <li>Mental Health & Coaching Benefits</li> <li>Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off</li> <li>Generous Paid Parental Leave </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Pay Transparency:</strong></p> <p>This job posting may span more than one career level.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and will also be eligible to receive a commission.
