Job Summary
The Courier I is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely pick-up and delivery of food and environmental samples to and from laboratory testing facilities. This role plays an important part in maintaining sample integrity and supporting laboratory operations.
The Courier provides outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
This position requires the ability to use the company’s routing and delivery mobile application to receive routes, track deliveries, upload documentation, and communicate with dispatch. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones, navigation tools, and mobile apps in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
•
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport food and environmental samples between customer locations and laboratory facilities.
•
Ensure all samples are delivered on time and in proper condition while maintaining required chain-of-custody documentation.
•
Use the company’s routing and driving mobile application to receive assignments, follow delivery routes, log stops, upload photos, and communicate with dispatch.
•
Provide professional and courteous customer service during pick-up and delivery interactions.
•
Follow all company policies and applicable state and federal driving regulations.
