Duties

• Monitor inmate activity and enforce facility rules to maintain order and safety.

• Conduct thorough background checks on new inmates and visitors to ensure security compliance.

• Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and security breaches using clear and professional report writing skills.

• Report data accurately through official logs and data reporting systems to support facility operations.

• Perform security checks including pat-downs, searches, and surveillance to prevent contraband entry or escapes.

• Respond swiftly to emergencies with CPR certification and follow safety regulations to protect all individuals on-site.

• Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to security protocols.
Qualifications

• Proven experience or knowledge in law enforcement or criminal law is highly desirable.

• Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, detailed reports and documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and data reporting tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and assess potential risks effectively.

• Knowledge of security practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards within correctional environments.

• Excellent in-person customer service skills when interacting with inmates, visitors, and staff.

• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating leadership qualities in high-pressure situations.
