THE ROLE

The Codeway Brand team exists to shape how Codeway is experienced, perceived, and remembered, from someone's first touch with us to a long-term sense of belonging. It sits at the intersection of brand, culture, talent, and experience, owning the narrative, design, and experiential layer of the entire journey.

In practice, that makes us Codeway's in-house creative studio: a small, lean team owning brand identity, communications, design, and creative output for Codeway HQ and every vertical company. As Codeway scales, our job is to make sure every interaction with us feels intentional, consistent, and true to who we are.

Codeway is entering its most public chapter: a new HQ in Barcelona, independent vertical companies, and a growing industry presence. As Corporate Communications Specialist, you shape how Codeway is understood: by the industry, the press, partners, and our own people. You turn strategy into clear communication, align a 400+ person company around one story, and lead the communication of our biggest moments. Along the way, you build our press and partner network while raising the communication standard across the company with the support of the communications team alongside you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

- The corporate narrative. You work close to Codeway's strategic direction and own its presence: how the company is seen, how it's known, and how it explains itself in the moments that matter most.

- Communication strategy for company moments. Flagship events, leadership sessions, company-wide milestones. You own the communication layer of each: the goals, the messages, the flow, and the alignment across everyone involved, from leadership to the teams on the ground.

- The internal communication standard. How a company of 400+ stays aligned: You define the structure, messaging, and channel strategy behind everything from a company announcement to a leadership day, built with Employee Experience and the leadership team.

- Major campaigns, from strategy to results. Campaigns start with you: audience, message, narrative, KPI. Then you direct production with the communication team, and read the results against what you set out to do.

- Codeway's external readiness. A press network built over time, not activated in a rush. Communication that holds up in front of any audience: partners, press, and the wider industry. Every public surface of the company, from third-party platforms to the website's messaging, accurate and current.

- The recognition game. Awards, rankings, and industry lists that shape how a company is perceived. You identify where Codeway should appear, as an employer, an app company, and a European tech story, and drive the right submissions at the right time.

- The network behind the work. Journalists, partners, agencies, and external stages worth being on. You grow the relationships that give Codeway's story reach, and bring the right people into the right moments.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

- Strategic communication sense. You connect company strategy to communication naturally: you read where a company is going and see how it should be told, to which audience, in what order.

- Command of the written word. You don't need to write every word yourself, but you spend your days working with copy. You know what strong writing looks like, challenge messaging when needed, and help every piece of communication become sharper and more effective.

- A collector of the business. You deeply understand Codeway, its verticals, products, markets, numbers, and wins, and turn that knowledge into compelling stories.

- Fluency in the media landscape. You know where a company like Codeway should be seen and heard: which publications, which stages, which conversations. You know how to work with journalists, including when the question is a hard one.

- Command of complex moments. Events, launches, campaigns with many moving parts and many stakeholders. You've run them before, and things you run arrive prepared.

- A builder of partnerships. Partners, agencies, and the people who open doors. You grow relationships deliberately, maintain them well, and run partner-facing work with the same care you give the company's own moments.

- AI in the workflow. AI sits inside how you work: structuring an announcement, preparing a speaker brief, reading coverage, drafting fast. You know what to hand it and what to keep, and you stay close to what's newly possible.

- Proficiency in English. You read, write, and speak proficiently in English.
