To strengthen our Supply Chain Team we are looking for a Configuration & Logistics Officer who ensures that for a given engine, the pieces are made available for assembly within the configuration and timeframe agreed with the customer.

Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is a subsidiary of Safran Aircraft Engines, based at Brussels Airport (Zaventem & Steenokkerzeel, Belgium), specialized in the inspection, maintenance and repair (MRO) of the advanced LEAP jet engines that power the latest generation of the Airbus A320NEO & Boeing B737MAX narrow body families. The company is a key player in the integrated CFM international MRO network. With more than 75 years of experience, and up to 20 international Part 145 certifications (EASA/ FAA/ CAAC/ …), Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels is recognized as a worldwide center of expertise in the air transport industry. Your role:

* You will analyse and provide the logistical needs to complete the engine.
* You read and understand the logistical aspects of the Bill of Work for the engine.
* You detect critical points in the completion process and look for an appropriate solution to achieve the objectives (e.g. Standard Exchanges, switches between different engines).
* You direct your internal suppliers (warehouse, backshop, subcontracting, purchasing).
* You complete the modules and ensure that they are prepared according to the predetermined production planning.
* You support the assembly line with missing and/or defective parts.
* You analyse the interchangeability (technical and qualitative) of pieces, in accordance with the established configuration.
