💰 Salary: $3,000 – $5,000 (Depending on experience)
Job Scope:
- Provide comprehensive optometry and clinical support to ophthalmologists and the eye care team in a specialist eye centre.
- Perform detailed eye examinations, refraction tests, visual acuity assessments, and pre/post-operative evaluations for patients undergoing laser vision correction, cataract surgery, and other eye treatments.
- Operate and interpret results from diagnostic equipment including OCT, corneal topography, biometry, pachymetry, and visual field analyzers.
- Document clinical findings accurately and maintain proper patient records in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on eye conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions.
- Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists, nurses, optometrists, opticians, and administrative teams to ensure smooth clinic operations and quality patient care.
- Support clinical audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities.
- Participate in training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in advanced optometry practices.
Requirements:
Professional Optometry / Optician qualifications with valid OOB registration is essential.
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 1.00pm
