• Build and grow strategic relationships with advertisers by understanding their business objectives and delivering consultative, insight-driven recommendations.
• Own a portfolio of clients and develop account strategies that drive long-term growth, retention, and revenue expansion.
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing partnerships across your assigned market and vertical.
• Create compelling sales narratives by leveraging market insights, campaign learnings, audience intelligence, and Spotify's advertising solutions.
• Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals by developing strategic account plans and proactively identifying opportunities to grow your business.
• Analyze campaign performance and client data to develop actionable insights and optimization recommendations that improve business outcomes.
• Develop deep expertise in Spotify's advertising products, platform capabilities, and industry trends to position innovative solutions that align with client objectives.
• Manage an active sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasting, and effectively prioritize opportunities across multiple accounts.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales Planning, Client Services, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Data—to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize campaign success.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Spotify Advertising by sharing market insights, client feedback, and best practices across the broader sales organization. • You have 5+ years of experience managing client relationships and driving revenue within a digital advertising, media, or advertising technology organization. Experience in audio advertising is a plus.
• You know how to build executive-level relationships and act as a trusted advisor by delivering thoughtful, consultative solutions.
• You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets while managing a complex portfolio of clients.
• You are experienced in developing strategic account plans and identifying opportunities to grow existing business while generating new revenue.
• You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• You communicate clearly and confidently, adapting your approach to influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• You enjoy collaborating across cross-functional teams and believe strong partnerships create the best outcomes for clients.
• You care about delivering an outstanding customer experience and using data and insights to inform recommendations and drive results.
• You approach your work with integrity, curiosity, accountability, and a growth mindset, and you're excited to help shape the future of Spotify Advertising. • This role is based in New York, NY.
• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
• We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
