Position Overview:
We are seeking a Child Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner / Hybrid / Bilingual Spanish to provide specialized mental health services to patients aged 6 and above in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work with only one on-site day per week. Bilingual in Spanish candidates are required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychological assessment and therapy to children aged 6 or above
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans
Maintain active Medicaid provider status
Collaborate with team members
Provide culturally competent care to diverse populations
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
Requirements
Education: Master of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited PMHNP program
Licensure: Active New York State PMHNP License
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with children aged 6 and above
Requirements: Must have an active Medicaid.
Language: Bilingual Spanish (mandatory)
Technical Skills: Child psychiatric assessment, medication management, therapy modalities
Soft Skills: Cultural competence, empathy, strong communication with children and families
