Job Title: Chief Analytics Officer (CAO)
Role Summary
The Chief Analytics Officer leads the organization's analytics strategy, transforming data into actionable insights that drive business performance, innovation, and competitive advantage. This role focuses on advanced analytics, AI/ML, and decision intelligence to enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analytics Strategy & Leadership

Define and execute enterprise-wide analytics strategy aligned with business goals

Position analytics as a core driver of growth, efficiency, and innovation

Advise executive leadership on insights-driven decision-making

2. Advanced Analytics & AI/ML

Lead development of predictive, prescriptive, and machine learning models

Drive AI/ML adoption across functions (marketing, risk, operations, finance)

Ensure scalability and productionization of analytics models

3. Business Intelligence & Insights

Oversee BI platforms, dashboards, and reporting frameworks

Enable real-time and self-service analytics across business units

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders

4. Decision Intelligence & Value Creation

Embed analytics into business processes and decision workflows

Drive measurable impact on revenue growth, cost optimization, and risk management

Establish KPIs to track analytics ROI and business outcomes

5. Data Collaboration & Governance

Partner with the Chief Data Officer and IT teams on data architecture and quality

Ensure responsible use of data and adherence to governance frameworks

Align analytics initiatives with data strategy and compliance standards

6. Innovation & Experimentation

Promote a culture of experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis-driven analysis)

Explore emerging technologies and advanced modeling techniques

Drive continuous improvement in analytical capabilities

7. Talent & Capability Building

Build and lead high-performing analytics and data science teams

Develop analytics capabilities across the organization

Promote data literacy and insight-driven culture

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field

15–20+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or quantitative roles

Proven track record in delivering analytics-driven business impact

Strong expertise in statistical modeling, AI/ML, and BI tools

Experience working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
