Work is performed under the supervision of the Project Director. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.</p> <p>The Career Advisor/ Workforce Case Manager will play an integral role in Career TEAM’s mission of<em> accelerating the human condition! </em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Career Team also offers a competitive package including</strong></span>:</p> <ul> <li>401k with a generous employer match</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans</li> <li>Disability insurance</li> <li>Employer-sponsored life insurance policy</li> <li>Supplemental insurance</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your Impact on Career TEAM’s Success</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide information and case management services to the community</li> <li>Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program</li> <li>Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs and abilities through interviewing, testing, and other methods</li> <li>Serves as a liaison between workforce development programs and community partners</li> <li>Enter data into and otherwise use and process clients through any participant information system as required, and any other database as required by the One-Stop system</li> <li>Guide job seekers through the preparation of individual employment plans (IEP) based on their specific occupational goals</li> <li>Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services</li> <li>Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and follow up on those activities</li> <li>Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations for clients</li> <li>Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation; ensure that case files have originals and/or copies of eligibility documentation</li> <li>Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer, assuring that each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements</li> <li>Develop a comprehensive Individual Employment Plan (IEP) for all customers. Provide referral and tracking of eligible customers into contracted programs provided on-site at the One-Stop centers and/or located in the community in accordance with established contracts</li> <li>Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks. Participate in all staff-related events as required, including but not limited to training, staff meetings, and individual supervision</li> <li>Complete all required reports.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Ideal Qualifications for this Role Include</span></strong><strong>:</strong><strong> </strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of experience in operations</li> <li>Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources</li> <li>Multilingual and bilingual preferred</li> <li>Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions</li> <li>Must be computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems</li> <li>Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive</li> <li>Ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goals</li> <li>Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational skills, and communication skills, both oral and written required</li> <li>Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements</li> <li>A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality</li> <li>Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure</li> <li>A Valid Driver’s License</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Salary Range:</u></strong> $49,000 - $52,000</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Travel</strong></span><strong>:…
