Work is performed under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead.&nbsp;The Career Advisor reports to the WIOA Program Lead. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.</p> <p>The Career Advisor is an integral part of our team and will assist us with our mission of<em> accelerating the human condition!&nbsp;</em></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Career Team also offers a competitive package including</strong></span>:</p> <ul> <li>401k with a generous employer match;</li> <li>medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employee-sponsored HSA on any qualifying plans;</li> <li>disability insurance;</li> <li>and supplemental insurance.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your Impact on Career Team's Success</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide intensive case management services to registered customers within the One-Stop system;</li> <li>Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program. Assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs and abilities through interviewing, testing and other methods;</li> <li>Enter data into and otherwise use and process clients through any participant information system as required, and any other database as required by the One-Stop system;</li> <li>Guide jobseekers through the preparation of individual employment plans (IEP) based on their specific occupational goals;</li> <li>Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and other services;</li> <li>Complete Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers, and other documents required for clients entering training;</li> <li>Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs or job opportunities and follow-up on those activities;</li> <li>Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs and other group presentations for clients;</li> <li>Follow all policies, procedures and regulations related to eligibility documentation to ensure that case files have originals and/or copies of eligibility documentation;</li> <li>Maintain accurate individual case files for each registered customer assuring that each file contains all required eligibility documents and meets compliance requirements;</li> <li>Develop a comprehensive Individual Employment Plan (IEP) for all customers;</li> <li>Provide referral and tracking of eligible customers into contracted programs provided on-site at the One-Stop centers and/or located in the community in accordance with established contracts;</li> <li>Meet and/or exceed program benchmarks. Participate in all staff related events as required including but not limited to: training, staff meetings and individual supervision;</li> <li>Complete all required reports;</li> <li>Approach each day and task with a “ZAG” mindset;</li> <li>Other duties and projects as needed.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Ideal Qualifications Include</strong></span><strong>:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent;</li> <li>Experience combining elements of training, counseling, case management or other services;</li> <li>Experience with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive</li> <li>Demonstrated ability working in a dynamic team environment with an aptitude for communication, interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with others, show courteousness, and having a high level of professionalism</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to serve and influence as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goals</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive</li> <li>Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>A Valid Driver’s License</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Hourly Wage</span>:</strong><strong> </strong>$25.75 - $26.35/hour.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Travel</strong></span><strong>: </strong>Position may require local travel up to 40% of the time.</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration:…
