Are you passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and eager to make a meaningful impact? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! In this role, you will work one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
About the Role
As an RBT, you will deliver individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and help develop essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Support the achievement of skill development and behavior-reduction goals
- Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with clients and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development related to ABA and special education
Qualifications
- Current RBT Certification (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
- Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
- Educational background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
