<p><strong>Backend Developer (Node JS)</strong></p> <p>Experience: 3 to 5 years / 5 years & up</p> <p>Job Mode: Contract</p> <p>Work Mode: Hybrid </p> <p>                                                                                                                                            </p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing secure software solutions to protect our systems and data.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job description:</strong></p> <p>This section contains the key objectives for the role.</p> <ul> <li>Design, execution, deployment, monitoring and maintaining software engineering applications.</li> <li>Active participation in Code Reviews and production deployments.</li> <li>Take project requirements and map them to technical design</li> <li>Actively participate in architecture design teams as a key contributor to product definition and future implementation planning <strong>Work closely with frontend and other backend development teams to ensure the platform is built to support their needs</strong></li> <li>Work closely with service engineering (SRE) teams to ensure platform is built with scalability & ease of deployment and maintenance</li> <li>Build reusable APIs for internal and external use.</li> <li>Documentation of standard practices adopted in the platform.</li> <li>Team building activities and helping with recruitment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years of experience in IT Industry.</li> <li>Domain experience within Invest areas (i.e. Stocks, Crypto and Funds) for bank or Fintech.</li> <li>Hands on experience/knowledge with TDD, OOP, FP and software design patterns</li> <li>Familiar with Amazon Web Services / Cloud</li> <li>Good exposure in CI/CD adoption.</li> <li>4 yrs strong NODE tech stack- MUST</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Role-specific Requirements</strong></p> <p> Technologies: Node JS</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>About Encora</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner of some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital native companies.
