About this role

KLDiscovery, one of the largest international eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking an Associate Project Manager in Japan. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting all activities of the Project Management team. The Project Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients from project initiation through closeout. This role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills with native-level or fluent Japanese and “high-business” English language skills. This is a remote, work from home opportunity. Candidates will be considered who live in or around Tokyo. At KLD we invest in employees and their families by placing their wellbeing first. Salary range for the role is 5,500,000 - 7,000,000 JPY per annum. Responsibilities

Work in tandem with Project Managers, Senior Project Managers to support the completion of active client projects

Support Project Management group with administrative tasks including billing, job tracking, scheduling, reporting and answers to client inquiries

Schedule and conduct project meetings to understand project goals, processes, timelines and expectations, documenting meeting minutes as required

Input requirements into work order tracking system including project revisions and updates throughout the project cycle

Assist in the development and maintenance of client and management reports

Act as liaison with Operations to understand, communicate and provide administrative support for appropriate solutions for active client projects

Directly manage small, transaction-based projects that only include receipt of media, simple processing and shipment of deliverables

Manage content and information on Project Management’s knowledge base, FAQ and SharePoint documentation repositories

Maintain a general understanding of our industry and trends and a thorough understanding of all company products and services and technologies

Qualifications

Fluent / Native written and spoken Business Japanese and strong command of English

1 years’ work experience in project management, administrative or related role

Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma (or equivalent) required

Solid written and verbal communications skills are critical to the success of this position

Client service-oriented attitude is required

Teamwork, attention to detail, positive attitude and self-motivation are also important attributes

SaaS, Professional services, eDiscovery, or litigation related experience is a plus
