We develop educational programmes, digital content, animation, visual storytelling, workshops, social-media campaigns and innovative communication materials to introduce new concepts to audiences locally and internationally.
We are looking for a creative and driven Animation & Motion Graphic Designer who can transform ideas, research concepts and educational content into compelling visual stories.
Position Overview
The Animation & Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, explainer videos, social-media videos, educational content and promotional visual materials for COSMOMK.
This role requires both creative thinking and technical execution. The ideal candidate is able to take a concept from storyboard and visual development through animation, editing, sound and final delivery.
You will work closely with the management, research, education and marketing teams to turn complex concepts into content that is simple, engaging, visually attractive and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Animation & Motion Graphics

• Create high-quality 2D and/or 3D animations for educational, corporate and promotional content.

• Develop motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, infographics and visual effects.

• Create animated characters, environments, icons and visual assets where required.

• Develop short-form videos suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.

• Produce longer-form educational and corporate videos when required.
2. Visual Storytelling

• Translate concepts, scripts and ideas into effective visual stories.

• Develop storyboards, visual concepts and animation sequences.

• Simplify complex ideas into clear and engaging visual communication.

• Understand pacing, composition, timing, visual hierarchy and storytelling.

• Create visuals that are aligned with COSMOMK's brand identity and educational positioning.
3. Video Production

• Handle projects from concept → storyboard → design → animation → editing → final output.

• Edit video footage, animation, graphics, music, sound effects and voice-over.

• Prepare videos in different formats and resolutions for digital platforms.

• Ensure all final videos meet professional quality standards.
4. Creative Development

• Participate in brainstorming and creative development sessions.

• Propose new animation styles, visual concepts and content formats.

• Research current animation, motion-design and digital-content trends.

• Continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of COSMOMK's visual communication.
5. Collaboration

• Work closely with researchers, educators, marketers, content creators and management.

• Convert written scripts and verbal concepts into visual content.

• Receive feedback and make revisions efficiently.

• Manage multiple creative projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Requirements
Essential Skills

• Diploma / Degree / Professional qualification in Animation, Motion Graphics, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Graphic Design or related fields.

• Strong understanding of animation principles, composition, typography, colour, timing and storytelling.

• Proficiency in relevant creative software such as:Adobe After EffectsAdobe Premiere ProAdobe PhotoshopAdobe IllustratorBlender / Cinema 4D / Maya or other 3D software

• Strong video-editing and motion-graphics capabilities.

• Ability to create engaging short-form digital content.

• Good visual sense and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
