AI/Gen AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI / GenAI Engineer to join a large financial institution based in Brussels (2 days/week onsite).

In this role, you will own small to medium-sized features from start to finish, including analyzing requirements, designing solutions, coding, testing, and supporting them in production. You will contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions while following engineering best practices and collaborating closely with your team.
Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and design solutions
Develop, test, and support features in production
Own small to medium-sized features end-to-end
Apply engineering best practices related to security, performance, scalability, and DevSecOps
Proactively solve problems and contribute to improving existing systems
Collaborate with teammates and contribute to the team's overall success
Support and coach colleagues where needed
Requirements

Fluent in English and French or Dutch
Minimum 3 years of experience in AI / Generative AI Engineering

Document Intelligence
Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML)
Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry
Chatbots / LLM-based customer-facing applications
