About this role
Job Title: Advisor, Salesforce Solutions
Location: Remote
Description
Founded in 2004, BME Strategies is a Massachusetts-based consulting firm specializing in the design, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs for local, regional, and state government partners. Our work supports evidence-based, community-driven solutions that strengthen public health systems and advance equity across the communities we serve. At BME, our clients are on the front lines of Public Health. Priorities may shift but our commitment to supporting our partners does not. We take pride in having multi-year, multi-project engagements, often working closely as an extension of their staff. Our success comes from our shared values: a bias toward action; optimistically collaborative; willingness to navigate ambiguity; minimal ego - no job is too small or big; pursuing the equitable solution; always learning, and; committed to quality at every stage.
Position Overview
The Advisor, Salesforce Solutions develops technology tailored to the real-world demands of public health operations. This role leverages a foundation in public health to understand critical operational needs, such as why a disease investigator requires specific data access or how reporting workflows must address multi-jurisdictional complexities. Beyond coding to technical specifications, the Advisor draws on direct experience in the field to deliver practical, intuitive solutions.
Working as part of a dynamic, collaborative team focused on the PH360 platform and client implementations, this position offers direct mentorship from senior developers and software architects committed to professional growth. In turn, the Advisor contributes valuable public health domain expertise to drive superior solution design. Far from an isolated engineering role, this position centers on active pair programming, dynamic design discussions, and a shared focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has ever identified flaws in public health systems and felt driven to create a better alternative.
Additionally, The Advisor, Salesforce Solutions will be a member of BME's Measurement, Evaluation, and Quality Improvement (MEQI) practice area and embedded within a client project team.
