Accounting Associate, Education (Part-Time)

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is seeking a 50% FTE Accounting Associate to provide accounting and finance-related support under our education and training programs in compliance with the terms and conditions of contracting agencies, the department, and the institution. We are looking for talented people who are interested in the details, who work well in collaboration with a range of individuals across the institution, who look critically at information, and who are interested in making a difference in their work environment. The position will work closely with the Education Program Administration team as well as faculty and research staff to improve business processes and maintain compliance with university cost compliance guidelines. The accounting associate will facilitate monthly iJournal submissions and invoice tracking for contracts and revenue generating education programs. They will generate and manage financial reports on service agreements, manage labor allocation schedules and adjustments, and perform analysis, in addition to becoming a content expert on Stanford’s cost policies.
