This is a paid, in-person, 12 week internship. <br><br><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design & build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.</li> <li>Present design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, design & execute hardware test plans.</li> <li>Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.</li> <li>Travel to test sites and vendors as needed.</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.</li> <li>Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.</li> <li>Collegiate project team or laboratory experience.</li> <li>Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program.</li> <li>CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.</li> <li>Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.</li> <li>High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles.</li> <li>U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior internship experience and/or leadership on a collegiate project team or laboratory.</li> <li>Experience in NX/Teamcenter and/or Solidworks.</li> <li>Experience with FEA and/or CFD analysis tools.</li> <li>Ability to integrate electrical components into designs (motors, controllers, sensors etc.).</li> <li>Experience with machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and 3D printing.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">US Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$30</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$45 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-contrast="auto">The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
